HUG FOR ＿.（ハグフォー）は神奈川県鎌倉市を拠点とするアートギャラリー。
静ひつ性と余白を基調とした2つの展示室では、絵画、彫刻、写真、布、インスタレーションなどの
メディアによって表現されたジャンルレスのアートに出会える場として開かれています。
ここでは静かに作品を読み深め、心豊かな人生と明るい未来をアーティストや鑑賞者と共に
しなやかに描いてくことを目的に活動しています。
またトークイベントやワークショップ、交流会を意欲的に開催し、コミュニケーションの場としても
有機的に機能させ、アートがライフスタイルに溶け込めるきっかけを提供するギャラリーを
目指してゆきます。
ギャラリー名のHUG FOR＿.には、芸術を通して思考や心象に余白を生む鑑賞体験、
ハグするように留めておきたい大切な想い、事柄、記憶を見つめ直す時間、そして誰においてもそれらを優しく包み込む包摂的な空間にしたいという想いが込められています。
HUG FOR _ . is an art gallery based in Kamakura, Kanagawa.
With two exhibition rooms designed around tranquility and spaciousness, the gallery presents genre-free art across diverse media—painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, and installation. It is an open space where anyone can encounter art beyond boundaries.
We value the quiet act of deeply engaging with artworks, and we aim to envision a richer life and a brighter future together with both artists and visitors.
The gallery also hosts talk events, workshops, and gatherings, organically serving as a place for communication. Through these activities, we hope to offer opportunities for art to naturally become part of everyday life.
The name HUG FOR _ . embodies three ideas:
creating space within thoughts and emotions through the experience of art;
holding close meaningful feelings and memories, as if embracing them;
and shaping an inclusive environment that gently welcomes everyone.

Artist in Residence / 滞在制作、社会体験
国内外のアーティストを招き、滞在制作（アーティスト・イン・レジデンス）の企画・運営・コーディネートを行っています。地域資源や文化、人々との交流を創作活動へとつなげ、滞在制作から展覧会、ワークショップ、地域連携プログラムまで、一貫したプロジェクトを運営しています。

Event＆ Workshop / 企画・サポート
ギャラリー、店舗、ホテル、オフィス、住宅など、それぞれの場所の魅力や個性を引き出し、アートが日常に自然と溶け込む空間づくりをご提案します。その場所や人との関係性を大切にしながら、空間に最適なアートをご提案します。コンセプト設計からアート、家具、什器、照明まで空間全体を総合的にディレクションし、暮らしや事業に寄り添う心地よい環境をデザインします。
アートを通して人と人、人と地域をつなぐイベントやワークショップを企画・運営しています。対話型鑑賞会（VTS）をはじめ、展覧会関連イベント、音楽会、子ども向け・企業向けワークショップなど、目的やテーマに応じたプログラムを設計し、企画から運営までトータルでサポートします。
Project Aoe / 社会貢献活動
Aoe（アオエ）は、アートやクリエイティブな活動を通じて、人と社会をやさしくつなぐプロジェクトです。鎌倉を拠点に、地域・企業・教育・福祉との共創を通して「競争ではなく共鳴を、分断ではなく共感」を育みます。活動による収益の一部は、困難に直面する女性を支援する団体へ寄付し、誰もが自分らしく生きられる社会の実現を目指しています。
Rental space
アートギャラリーの空間を活用したレンタルスペースを提供しています。展示、撮影、イベント、ワークショップなど、表現や交流の場として、目的やコンセプトに合わせた柔軟な空間活用をご提案します。人と作品、人と地域がつながる創造的な場を育みます。
Representative Profile | Eriko Okuyama
鎌倉市在住。大学卒業後、民間企業および外郭団体での勤務を経て、2016年より現代アート業界へ転身。銀座、六本木、白金台、天王洲など東京の複数の現代アートギャラリーにて、展覧会の企画運営、アーティストマネジメント、パブリックアートコーディネーションなどに携わり、多様な現場で実践的な経験を重ねる。いずれも一貫して関心を寄せてきたのは、芸術の社会的役割と、人と人とをつなぐ表現の力。
2019年から鎌倉に移り住み、人間と芸術の関係性を再定義する試みの場として、2022年にアートギャラリー「HUG FOR ＿ .」を開業。アート作品の展示販売を軸としながら、対話の時間を大切に、アートが個人の内面と社会を優しく結び直す場をつくることを目指している。2025年には、自らの体験をもとに、女性であることによって社会で生じる無意識の役割期待や、構造的な偏りに対する違和感や生きにくさを出発点とした、女性アーティストの活躍に焦点をあて活動するプロジェクト「Aoe（アオエ）」をスタート。芸術が社会や人に対してどのように貢献し循環を生むことができるかを、事業性と社会性の両輪の視点をもって活動をし続けている。

After graduating from university, she worked in both the private sector and a public-affiliated organization before transitioning into the contemporary art field in 2016. She gained extensive practical experience at several contemporary art galleries in Tokyo—including Ginza, Roppongi, Shirokanedai, and Tennozu—where she was involved in exhibition planning and management, artist management, and public art coordination. Throughout her career, her enduring interest has been the social role of art and its capacity to foster meaningful human connection.
In 2019, she relocated to Kamakura. Seeking to reimagine the relationship between people and art, she founded the contemporary art gallery HUG FOR＿. in 2022. Alongside exhibiting and selling artworks, the gallery places dialogue at the heart of its activities, creating opportunities for art to gently reconnect individuals with themselves, others, and society.
In 2025, drawing on her own lived experiences, she launched Aoe, a project dedicated to supporting and promoting women artists. The initiative emerged from her awareness of the unconscious social expectations, structural inequalities, and challenges that women often encounter. Through both HUG FOR＿. and Aoe, she continues to explore how art can contribute to society and generate meaningful social impact, pursuing a practice that balances artistic, social, and sustainable business values.
